Plastic intermediate clamp advantages
Design advantages:
- Metal clamp equivalent. The same distances are maintained between fence posts as during assembly of metal intermediate clamp.
- Immediate assembly. Openings inside the clamp allow its quick fixing by means of screws intended for plastics. This kind of fixing does not require using problematic spacers, so-called booklets. The fixing is easy to be modified also after final assembly.
- No corrosion centre. The plastic intermediate clamp is without doubt a product with better technical values. Compared to the metal clamp the screws are set in the mounting holes and additionally protected by caps. The advantage of such a solution is that there is no corrosion.
- Safety. Rounded structure protects against accidental cut.
- Timeless and original design. The appearance of the clamp is consistent with the fence post and plastic bracket for concrete slab.
- Problem-free delivery. No scratches during transport and low product weight allow the reduction of forwarding costs.
Material advantages:

The plastic clamp is made of high quality plastic - polyamide (PA), containing UV stabiliser. This kind of plastic guarantees lasting protection against adverse weather conditions. This material does not absorb moisture, features high resistance to impacts in low and high temperatures. The plastic has also a high ability to absorb vibrations, good dimensional stability and high resistance to environmental corrosion and penetration of chemicals.

- The product should be used exclusively in accordance with its intended purpose.
- The product should not be subjected to mechanical loads other than those resulting from its normal use.
- The product should not be modified or altered – such actions may lead to loss of protective and safety properties.
- The product is not suitable for children. There is a risk of choking on small parts. Keep the product out of the reach of children, especially if it contains small components.
- Do not expose the product to open flames or high temperatures.
- Do not use the product in chemically aggressive environments (for example, in the presence of solvents, acids, or technical oils), unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer.
- Before use, check that the product does not have any cracks, deformations, or other damage. Damaged components must be replaced – products with visible defects must not be used.
- Do not modify, cut, or alter the product – this may result in the loss of its properties and increase the risk of accidents due to malfunction.
- The product is not intended for contact with food, drinking water, or direct contact with the human body, unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer.
- Clean the product with a soft, damp cloth, without aggressive detergents or solvents.
- If the product is used in or near electrical installations, ensure that it does not conduct electricity and that its use complies with electrical safety regulations.
- Dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations regarding plastic waste. Do not throw it into mixed waste if waste separation is required.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
OPT 40x60 clamps are designed for 3D fence panels with wire diameters of Ø3 mm, Ø4 mm, or Ø5 mm, as well as 2D 6/5/6 fence panels.
Fence posts should be installed in the ground at a spacing of 255 cm to 257 cm, measured from the center of one post to the center of the next.
Install the fence panel between the posts using plastic clamps, which should be positioned as follows:
- for fence panels up to 1 m high – at the top and bottom of the post;
- for fence panels from 1 m to 1.56 m high – installation with three clamps is recommended, evenly spaced along the post;
- for fence panels from 1.56 m to 2.36 m high – installation with four clamps is recommended, evenly spaced along the post;
- for fence panels over 2.36 m high – installation with five clamps is recommended, evenly spaced along the post.
Place the front part of the clamp with the Ø6 mm through hole and the rear part of the clamp with the Ø3 mm blind hole so that they fully enclose the post together with the fence panels.
Using a screwdriver fitted with a Torx TX25 bit, pre-tighten one side of the intermediate clamp and then the other.
If both parts fit together evenly, tighten them until they are fully seated, stopping when resistance is felt on the screwdriver.
WARNING: The recommended tightening torque for the clamps is 3 to 6 Nm.
Please note that the numbering on the torque adjustment ring of an electric screwdriver (e.g. 1–20) does not correspond to the actual tightening torque.
Plastic intermediate clamps should not be stored at sub-zero temperatures before installation.
They should be kept at room temperature for several hours before installation to ensure optimal installation conditions.
THE SET INCLUDES:
Package 1: front part of the clamp with a Ø6 mm through hole;
Package 2: rear part of the clamp with a Ø3 mm blind hole;
Package 3: galvanized steel screws, type 6.1×30 Torx TX25; caps for covering the holes in the clamp.
